Founded by Hannah Hembree Bell — divorce-survivor-turned-divorce-lawyer, Austin Best Places to Work honoree, Inc. Female Founders honoree, and one of Austin’s most recognized voices in family law. Hannah didn’t build this firm from a textbook. She built it from the parking-lot-crying, can’t-make-the-math-work, who-is-actually-on-my-side moments she lived through herself.

Years ago, I sat in the parking lot of a law firm and cried because I couldn’t make the math work. I told myself I’d figure it out later. I stayed longer than I should have. I lost months of my life I’m never getting back. I was — though I didn’t have the words for it then — the understudy in my own life. Showing up. Performing the part. Quietly waiting for someone to hand me the script for the role I was actually supposed to play.
What I needed back then was a firm that would handle it. A team who would think two steps ahead of me, anticipate what I didn’t even know to ask, and make me feel — for the first time in a long time — like someone had me. I needed a sister. I needed a guide. I needed someone to look me dead in the eye and tell me I was a good bet.
I never found that firm. So I built it.
My Confident Divorce is what I wish had existed for me, and what I now refuse to let women in Austin go without. We meet you in the messy middle — not with a clipboard and a retainer agreement, but with curiosity, warmth, and a team that’s already a step ahead. We bring real strength to the legal piece. And we never, ever lose sight of the woman in the chair.
